Ingredients:

500g boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into pieces

1/2 cup cornstarch

2 eggs, beaten

Salt and black pepper to taste

Oil for frying

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp ketchup

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp vinegar

1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Season the chicken with salt and pepper

Coat each piece in cornstarch, dip in beaten egg, then coat again lightly with cornstarch

Deep fry until golden and crispy, then drain on paper towels

In a pan, combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, vinegar, and chili flakes

Cook the sauce for 2–3 minutes until it thickens

Add the fried chicken and toss until evenly coated and shiny

Garnish with parsley or sesame seeds
