2 glazed donuts, sliced in half horizontally
4 slices cheddar cheese (or American cheese for extra melt)
4 slices cooked bacon
1–2 tbsp butter (for grilling)
Instructions
1. Cook the bacon
Fry bacon in a pan until crispy.
Remove and place on paper towels to drain.
2. Prepare the donuts
Slice each glazed donut in half like a bagel.
Lightly butter the cut sides.
3. Build your sandwiches
For each sandwich:
Place donut half (cut side down) on the pan.
Add 2 slices of cheddar.
Add 2 slices of crispy bacon.
Top with the other half of the donut.
4. Grill
Heat a skillet over medium-low.
Grill each sandwich 2–3 minutes per side until:
The donut is caramelized and golden
The cheese is fully melted
The bacon warms through
Tip: Press gently with a spatula for better melt.
5. Serve
Let sit 1 minute so the cheese settles.
Slice in half or eat whole.
