Homemade pizza dough

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients for 2 medium pizzas:

– 2½ cups bread flour (320g)
– 1⅓ cups cake flour (160g)
– 3 tbsp sugar (40g)
– 1 tsp salt (5g)
– 0.7 oz fresh yeast (20g) or 2¼ tsp instant dry yeast (7g)
– 1⅛ cups warm water (265ml)
– 1½ tbsp unsalted butter, softened (20g)

Steps:

1. Combine all ingredients and knead until the dough is smooth.

2. Divide the dough into equal pieces.

3. Roll each piece into a round shape. Use a bowl of similar size to make an imprint, then roll up the edges. Use a fork to prick the center.

4. Ferment the dough until doubled in size.

5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) for 10 minutes.

6. Add your choice of toppings on the pizza dough, and bake in the oven at 190°C (374°F) for 15 minutes.
