Honey BBQ Baked Chicken Drumsticks

 

 

 

 

 

 

🛒 Ingredients:

8 chicken drumsticks

1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite kind)

1/4 cup honey

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

👩‍🍳 Directions:

Preheat
Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.

Season the Chicken
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Rub the mixture all over the drumsticks and place them on the baking sheet.

Bake the Drumsticks
Bake for 25 minutes. While they bake, mix honey and BBQ sauce in a small bowl.

Glaze and Finish Baking
Brush the honey BBQ sauce all over the drumsticks. Return to oven and bake for another 15–20 minutes, until sauce is caramelized and chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F/75°C).

Serve
Let rest a few minutes. Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or coleslaw!
