Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

– 1½ lbs ground beef

– 1 cup breadcrumbs

– 1 egg

– ½ cup onion, finely chopped

– ½ cup milk

– Salt, pepper, garlic powder

– 6 potatoes, peeled and cubed

– 4 tbsp butter

– ½ cup milk (for potatoes)

– 2 cups beef broth + 2 tbsp flour (for gravy)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, milk, and seasoning.

Shape into loaf, place in pan, and bake 50–55 minutes.

Boil potatoes until tender, mash with butter and milk.

In a pan, whisk flour into beef broth, simmer until thick.

Slice meatloaf, serve with mashed potatoes, and pour gravy on top.
