Pasta (your choice) — 160 g (5.6 oz)
Yellow onion (1 large, thinly sliced into half-moons) – about 200 g (7 oz)
Garlic (1 whole head, top trimmed off) — about 40 g (1.4 oz)Gourmet food delivery
Cremini mushrooms (thinly sliced) – 200 g (7 oz)
Paprika — 1 tbsp (15 mL)
Oregano — 1 tbsp (15 mL)
Olive oil — 2 tbsp (30 mL)
Cream cheese (plain or herb-flavored) — 150 mL (⅔ cup)
Heavy cream (20-30% fat) — 200 mL (¾ cup + 1 tbsp)
Salt and pepper — to taste

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cheese making kit

In a baking dish, combine sliced onion and cremini mushrooms. Sprinkle with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Place the garlic head in the center, drizzle everything with olive oil, cover with foil, and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Remove the baking dish from the oven. Squeeze the soft roasted garlic from its skin into the dish. Add cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until a smooth, creamy sauce forms.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.

Serve immediately, optionally garnished with fresh parsley or a sprinkle of Parmesan.
