4 venison steaks (6 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup venison broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced

Season steaks with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steaks for 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Sauté mushrooms with garlic until soft.
Add venison broth and cream, simmer until thickened.
Return steaks to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook for 2 more minutes.
