12 ounces steak
→ Marinade
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 sprigs rosemary, minced
2/3 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/3 teaspoon red pepper

Finely mince the garlic cloves and rosemary sprigs.
In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and olive oil. Mix in the minced rosemary, garlic, and all the seasonings.
Pour the mixture into a zip-lock bag, add the steak, and shake well to coat. Refrigerate for 6 hours.
Remove the steak from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the steak until the exterior is crispy and the interior is cooked to the desired level of doneness.
