8 oz fettuccine pasta Cook according to package instructions
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or high-quality frozen shrimp

Cooking the Pasta
Be by boiling a pot of salted water. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Shrimp
In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes, flipping halfway until they turn pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth; bring this mixture to a gentle simmer.
Combining Ingredients
Reduce heat, add the cooked pasta to the sauce, and stir well to coat.
Then add the sautéed shrimp back into the skillet. Mix until everything is well combined.
Final Seasoning and Serving
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Garnish with fresh parsley and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
